π§ Job Summary
As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety systems, conducting inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. This role plays a key part in risk prevention and employee well-being across operational sites.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- Enforce company HSE policies and procedures at all levels.
- Conduct routine site inspections and safety audits.
- Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local and international safety standards (Qatar Labor Law, ISO, OSHA, etc.).
- Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions.
- Investigate incidents and accidents; prepare reports with preventive actions.
- Maintain records and documentation related to safety practices and incidents.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and management to ensure safe work practices.
π Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 3β5 years of HSE experience, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Qatarβs HSE regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.
- Must be currently based in Qatar or willing to relocate.
- Valid QID and transferable visa preferred.
