Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Officer based in Umluj. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by conducting regular safety inspections, overseeing health and safety protocols, and implementing preventive measures. The role involves investigating accidents, enforcing safety regulations, and providing safety training to staff. Additionally, the Safety Officer will work to maintain occupational health standards and manage security procedures to prevent workplace injuries and incidents.
Qualifications
- Health & Safety and Occupational Health skills
- Accident Investigation and Safety Training skills
- Security management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and manage on-site safety protocols
- Relevant certifications in health and safety are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, or related field
